Biography

Dr. Fengxiang X. Han has received his Ph.D. in Soil and Water Science from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel during the period of 1992-1997. Currently, he is working as Associate Research Professor in the Institute for Clean Energy Technology, Mississippi State University. He is serving as an editorial board member of several reputed journals such as Water Air and Soil Pollution and Soil and Sediment Contamination. He has authored one book and more than 60 refereed journal articles/book chapters. He is a member of Soil Science Society of America American Agronomy Society.

 
Research Interest

Agronomic and environmental studies of nutrients and animal waste application, environmental chemistry and biogeochemistry of heavy metals and radionuclides, phytoremediation, bioremediation and chemical remediation of polluted soil and water (Hg, As, Cr, Zn, Cd, Sr, Cs and U), surface chemistry of clay minerals, carbon sequestration and global warming, and remote sensing technology.
