Tissuechip peer reviewed scientific journals are dedicated to publishing research and review papers in the general areas of biomimetics, biomaterials . As such, it is a multidisciplinary journal intersecting the areas of biology, biochemistry, and materials science and engineering. While the editors will consider all manuscript submissions in these general areas, the focus of this journal is to explore the field of biomimetics and how it can be the key to scientific progress in the related areas of biomaterials and tissuechip. The primary aim as enshrined in the definition of tissuechip is to restore, maintain and/or improve tissue or organ function and this may be affected by the use of cells in combination with material substrates and also may be coupled with appropriate growth and guidance factors.
