The leading French banks in 2010 are BNP Paribas, and the Credit Agricole.

Promoting training for young researchers, contributing to the pursuit of scientific excellence and research mainly focus on ICT (information and communication technology)-which helps the global south to develop its own digital models.

France engages in initiatives in the global South to bring about a better and more equitable sharing of knowledge. France supports International Centre for Medical Research of Franceville (CIRMF) in Gabon and the Niamey Centre for Medical and Health Research (CERMES) in Niger. Numerous Healthcare journals are published from France with good reputation.
