The European Powder Metallurgy Association (EPMA) will be organising and sponsoring the Euro PM2018 International Conference and Exhibition series, which will be held in Bilbao, Spain, October 14 –18 2018 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre (BEC). The event will host an anticipated programme of over 250 oral and poster papers that will cover all aspects of Powder Metallurgy including:

• Additive Manufacturing
• Core PM
• Hard Materials and Diamond Tools
• Hot Isostatic Pressing
• Metal Injection Moulding
• New Materials and Applications
• PM Structural Parts

EPMA Executive Director Lionel Aboussouan said “Building on the highly successful Euro PM2017 event in Milan, there will not only be a number of special interest seminars covering all the main strands of the powder metallurgy industry, EPMA working group meetings and workshops on key topics of relevance to the industry, but also the EPMA Component Awards make a return to the event programme.”

Euro PM2018 Congress & Exhibition’s Call for Abstract Submissions is open until 24 January 2018 via the Euro PM2018 Congress & Exhibition website www.europm2018.com Also included on the website are all the details relating to how to submit an abstract and key dates in the event’s technical programme calendar.

The Euro PM2018 Industry Exhibition will also take place in parallel to the technical sessions and will be a showcase for the powder metal industry in Europe in 2018. ‘With over a large percentage of the exhibition space already allocated, a prompt response is required to ensure you do not miss out on your location in this year’s PM industry exhibition.’ Commented Andrew Almond, EPMA’s Exhibition Manager.
