Biography

Associate Professor Sang Ngoc Nguyen is now Vice President of Vietnam Pediatric Uro - Nephrology Association. Graduated from Hanoi Medical University in 1981 and completed residency program in 1987 at Vietnam-Sweden Hospital of Pediatrics in Hanoi. Since 1988, he has been working as lecturer for Haiphong University of Medicine and Pharmacy at department of Pediatric. Completed MSc program and received MSc certificate at Hanoi Medical University in 1995. Awarded Ph.D in Hanoi Medical University in 1999 with the study on: “The effect of intravenous pulse methylprednisolone therapy on changes of immune status in children with idiopathic nephrotic syndrome”. Completed over 80 researches in different fields: Childhood diseases, Primary health care, Preventive health care, Medical education. Awarded the title of Associate Professor in 2005. Besides, Dr Sang Ngoc Nguyen is Honorary Associate Professor from University of Sydney, Australia. Head of Pediatric Department, Head of Department of Scientific Management & International Cooperation, Haiphong University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Vice Head of Pediatric Department - Haiphong Children Hospital, Vietnam.
