Biography

Yann LE STRAT, MD, is Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry at Louis Mourier Hospital, Colombes, France. Dr. Le Strat received an M.D. from Paris Medical School in 2009 and is a Ph.D. student in Neurosciences. He completed a Clinical and Research Fellowship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Toronto, Canada from 2009 to 2010. He joined Louis Mourier Hospital, Colombes, France, in 2010 and is in charge of the detoxification unit in the psychiatry department. Currently, Dr. Le Strat serves as a reviewer for many scientific journals, as well as for the French National Institute of Health (PHRC program, national funding).

Research Interest

Epidemiology in Mental Health, using large surveys (NESARC, NCS-R).
Genetic epidemiology of addictions and psychiatric disorders.
