Biography

Dr Yuan-Ming Zhang is working as Professor of Quantitative Genetics at College of Plant Science and Technology, Huazhong Agricultural University, Wuhan, China. His research activity is focused on the methodologies for genome-wide association studies, QTL mapping, bulked segregant analysis, and linkage map construction and their applied research in crops. He is also involved in the genetic dissection and gene functional identification of soybean domestication traits. He is the Associate Editor for Heredity, Frontiers in Genetics, and Frontiers in Plant Science (Guest), and the Board Member for BMC Genomics, Scientific Reports, Agronomy, PLoS ONE, and Acta Agronomica Sinica. He was duly elected a full member of Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Honor Society in 2023. He is author of more than 100 scientific publications indexed in ISI and Scopus databases.
