I have been involved in cardiovascular research for more than ten years. One aspect of my current work is focused on the role of transcriptional regulation in cardiovascular diseases. My work is recognized for published studies on highlighting the role of kruppel-like factor 15 (KLF15) and kruppel-like factor 4 (KLF4) in pathophysiology of aortic aneurysm, atherosclerosis and restenosis, as well as in cardiomyopathy. The other aspect of my current work is on the metabolic regulation in physiological and pathological status, in cardiovascular system, as well as in metabolic organs.
