Biography

"Saroj Parajuli is a post doctoral research associate at Environmental Horticulture department, University of Florida. He is working on CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing of citrus for huanglongbing disease resistance. During his PhD, he research was focused on metabolic engineering of sugarcane for the production of lipids in vegetative biomass. He works on tissue culture, genetic transformation and improvement of hops, blackberry, impatiens and citrus"
