Renaldas Raisutis
Biography
Prof. Dr. Renaldas Raišutis (M) graduated in 1999 from Kaunas University of Technology (Lithuania) with a B.S.E. degree in electronics engineering, gained an M.S. degree in ultrasound technology in 2001 and gained a Ph.D. degree in measurement technology in 2005. He is Chief researcher at Prof. Kazimieras Baršauskas Ultrasound Research Institute and Professor at Department of Electrical Power systems, Faculty of Electrical and Electronics engineering, Kaunas University of Technology. The main field of research activity: fundamental and applied ultrasound, non-destructive testing and ultrasonic measurements, material characterization, structure health monitoring and quality control, solutions for clinical decision support and diagnostic medicine. He is author and co-author of more than 70 scientific publications and conference proceedings, innovator and co-author of 10 international patents (USA and EU). He developed more than 10 different ultrasound technologies and applications. He participated in Framework 5,6,7, Eurostars, Horizon 2020 projects and development contracts (as researcher and principal investigator).
