Biography

I am working as consultant neonatologist in private hospital in Dubai past 12 years.I am taking care of 23-week extremely preterm babies with reasonably good outcome. I have been involved in teaching nurses and registrars, making protocols building up the unit reputation across the city and other emirates as well.I am undergoing MSC Neonatology from Southampton University UK. I have started NNF and IAP fellowship first time overseas.I regularly attend PAS (AAP) and UENPS (European) conferences where my paper was also accepted. My paper received young scientist award in 13th Congress of the Federation of Asia and Oceania Prenatal Societies in 11th Congress of the Perinatal Society of Malaysia in 2004.I made documentary video on Kangaroo Mother Care, asepsis, total parental nutrition, on insertion of umbilical venous and arterial lines and administration of Surfactant for the training of health professionals.have been chosen by DHA as auditing member for the medico legal cases in which I am involved. I was actively involved in JCI accreditation of our organisation. Recently I was offered Head of department neonatology post in tertiary level Government hospital Jalila in Dubai.
