In 2011 completed her PhD in Nursing (Procedural Pain Management among Infants) from University of Technology. She is currently working as an Assistant Professor at Maternal and Child Health Department, Faculty of Nursing, Jordan University of Science and Technology.
• Acute procedural pain management among young children I am interested in managing immunisation pain using simple non-pharmacological interventions, such as using oral glucose solutions to reduce pain behaviours (ex. Crying). This topic was a part of my PhD thesis which was conferred in March 2011. • Exploring pediatric nurses’ perception and knowledge about infants’ pain management and the use of current available non-pharmacological interventions. This topic was also part of my PhD thesis which was conferred March/2011. • Improving neonates and young children development and wellbeing • Vitamin D deficiency and it’s relation to chronic diseases (ex. Asthma, DM, Autism etc) Also, I’m interested in finding the relation between VD deficiency and its relation to genetic factors.
