Dr Meguro was educated at the Tohuku University at both undergraduate and post-graduate level. He obtained his PhD in Neurology and Geriatric Medicine. He has vast work experiences at the Centre-CYCERON-INSERM, in France and the ADRC, Washington University in St. Louis, School of Medicine. From 2005 till present, he is a Professor at the Department of Geriatric Behavioral Neurology, Tohoku University Graduate School of Medicine. He is board-certified by the Japanese Academic Societies in the specialty of Internal Medicine, Clinical Neurology, Stroke Medicine, Geriatric Psychiatry, Dementia Medicine. He sat on the editorial Board of prestigious journal such as the Alzheimer Disease Associated Disorders, Dementia & Neuropsychology and the International Journal of Alzheimer’s Disease
