Biography
Girma Asefa Bogale was born in Selale zone, Oromia Region, Ethiopia in April 22, 19992. He completed his MSc in Agro meteorology and Natural Risk Management from Haramaya University, Haramaya Ethiopia in the year of 2020. Currently, he is working as lecturer and researcher at Climate change adaptation and mitigation, Agro climatology and meteorology, and Drought management and risk mitigation in Haramaya University Institute of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences.
Research Interest
Climate change and variability, Decision Support System Agro technology Transfer (DSSAT) crop model, MarkSim daily weather generator tool for downscaling future climate data, GIS for natural resource management and watershed delineation , and Instat for climate characterization.
