Board certified specialist in Respiratory Medicine, Ministry of health, Government of Sri Lanka • Administrative head and Consultant Respiratory Physician of respiratory unit 2, Teaching Hospital Kandy, Sri Lanka. Member of the extended faculty at Faculty of Medicine, University of Peradeniya. Visiting lecturer for Community Medicine, University of Peradeniya , Sri Lanka. Chairperson of subspecialty board of study in respiratory medicine at post graduate institute of medicine university of Colombo,2013-2015. • Trainer of, diploma trainees, post graduate registrars and senior registrars in respiratory medicine attached to the post graduate institute of medicine, University of Colombo. Examiner at Final MBBS at faculty of medicine university of Peradeniya. Examiner at DTCD and MD (Medicine) at Post graduate institute of medicine university of Colombo. Member of board of medicine, Post Graduate School of Medical Sciences(PGSM). • Reviewer of journals. Trained overseas in DR-TB and Interventional Pulmonology. Senior researcher with skills and experience in clinical research [both Quantitative and qualitative research] and statistics.
