Biography

Dr. Niraj Kumar Jha is a member of the Royal Society of Biology, London. Currently, he is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology, Sharda University, Greater Noida, India. He is a former Assistant Professor of the Faculty of Biotechnology, Noida Institute of Engineering and Technology (NIET), affiliated with Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU), India. He holds postgraduate degree in Biotechnology from Vellore Institute of Technology, Tamilnadu, India and Doctorate in Biotechnology from Delhi Technological University with a research fellowship from the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India. He has published over 150 quality scholarly work including original research, reviews, and book chapters. He has presented his research work in prestigious international conferences and annual meetings of professional scientific associations. He is editorial board member as well as guest editor of numerous peer-reviewed and referred international journals of high impact and reputation. His research interests include understanding the pathogenesis of cancer, neurodegenerative, and cardiovascular diseases and deciphering the therapeutic and preventive role of small molecules of natural or synthetic origin.
