Biography

Chenggao Li is the lecturer/postdoctoral fellow from the School of Civil Engineering, Harbin Institute of Technology. He is a master’s supervisor and guide the relevant research of six students, including undergraduate and master. He is the member of Young Scientist Team (Harbin Institute of Technology) and member of China Composite Material Society. He is mainly engaged in the research of fiber reinforced polymer composite structures in civil engineering. He has presided eight projects, such as National Natural Science Foundation Project, National Key Research and Development Project (sub-project leader), Natural Science Foundation of Heilongjiang Province and China Postdoctoral Science Foundation Project, etc., and the total project funding is 2.83 million RMB.

Research Interest

In the past five years, he has published more than 47 paper with H index of 15, including 42 SCI papers. The total number of citations is 551 (Google Scholar). Among them, 33 SCI papers have been published as the first/corresponding author, 13 papers are the top journals of Chinese Academy of Sciences and two papers were selected as ESI hot papers. Ten national invention patents have been authorized. More than 10 reports of domestic/ international academic conferences have been presented. He is the divisional chairman of SAMPE China 2021 International Conference (“Fiber Reinforced Composite for Civil Engineering construction and Infrastructure”). He has acted as academic editor/editorial board member of following journals, such as "Advances in Materials Science and Engineering" (SCI), “American Journal of Construction and Building Materials”, “Asia-Pacific Journal of Materials Science (APJMATER)”, “Journal of Research Update in Polymer Science”, “Nanotechnology and Advanced Material Science”, “Journal of Civil and Environmental Engineering” etc. Furthermore, he is the Topical Advisory Panel Member of "Polymers" (SCI), "Materials" (SCI) and "Fibers" (ESCI). In addition, he is also the reviewer of the international journals, such as Engineering Structures, Composite Structures, Construction and Building Materials, Polymers, Materials, Journal of Renewable Materials, etc. He organized the relevant academic conferences twice as the conference secretary, such as “6th Asia- Pacific Conference on FRP in Structures (APFIS2017), 2017, Singapore”. In addition, he also participated in the teaching research related to fiber reinforced composite structures in civil engineering, and obtained the second prize of Graduate Education Achievement of Harbin Institute of Technology in 2.
