Biography

Dr. Branislav Marković is currently Research Associate and Head of the Center for Metallurgical Technologies at Institute for Technology of Nuclear and Other Mineral Raw Materials, Belgrade, Serbia. He obtained his Ph.D in metallurgical engineering from University of Belgrade, Technical Faculty, Bor, Serbia in 2012. In the course of his previous research work he is actively engaged in research in the field of hydrometallurgical and pyrometallurgical processing. These researches include: processing of non-standard polymetallic ores and concentrates of nonferrous, rare and precious metals (from which it is not possible to obtain selective concentrates with classical technological procedures), recycling possibilities of non-standard secondary raw materials of nonferrous, rare and precious metals, as well as research in the field of thermodynamics of materials and kinetics of metallurgical processes. He is the member of International Associated Phase Diagram and Thermodynamics Committee (APDTC) since 2011 and Association of metallurgical engineers of Serbia. A wide field of research results in the publishing of the numerous papers in international and national journals as well as at the scientific conferences.
