Biography

Benson C Selvanesan, PhD is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Microbiology and Immunology of Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York, where he currently is working on cancer immunotherapy using attenuated Listeria monocytogenes as a platform to deliver immunotherapeutic agents selectively to the tumor microenvironment. He received his PhD in 2015 in the field of Biomedical Sciences at University of madras, India. From 2014 to 2016, he worked as a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Translational Medicine at Lund University, Sweden. He has published 20 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals, and reviewed articles for various scientific journals.
