Biography

Dr. Youcai Zhu is a Professor of Surgery and Oncology Medicine at Jiaxing Medical College in Zhejiang Province, China. He is a director of Integrative Pain Management in the Thoracic Tumor Center and is also a Cardiothoracic Physician. He is a graduate of the University of Suzhou, where he earned his bachelor’s degree of medicine. He completed his medical school training at the Zhejiang University and obtained a master’s degree in Surgery. Dr. Youcai Zhu designs patient specific pharmacotherpeutic treatment plans. His pain studies include specific interests in opioid and non-opioid drugs for pain management. His extensive daily practice is both outpatient and in-patient. Dr. Youcai Zhu’s background and his approach to pain management provide an individualized integrative approach to helping patients in pain.

Research Interest

Thoracic tumor, Trauma, Chronic pain of chest and Cardiovascular disease, especially to those patients with advanced tumor or bone fracture who have severe pain, and postoperative patients who need relieve pain.
