Biography

Tom obtained his PhD major in exercise physiology in 2002 at Hong Kong Baptist University. Presently, he serves as associate professor in the department of physical education and assistant director in the Dr. Stephen Hui research center for physical recreation and wellness in Hong Kong Baptist University

Research Interest

Dr. Tom research interests include Respiratory muscle function and its limitations in human performing exercise; Ergogenic effects of acute (warm-up) and chronic (training) inspiratory muscle loading in human, Specific exercise-induced physiological responses in trained adolescents , Effects of low-volume, high-intensity exercise on various health parameters in untrained persons.
