Biography

Dr. Ted H. Leem is a fellowship-trained head and neck surgeon and an Assistant Professor at the University of California, San Franicsco. His clinical interests focus on the care and management of patients with benign and malignant tumors of the head and neck. He has comprehensive experience in both minimally invasive and traditional surgical approaches for the treatment of head and neck tumors. He is also active in the Robotic Head and Neck Surgery program at UCSF. He attended the University of Colorado Boulder where he received both BA and MS degrees. He then attended medical school and completed his residency training in Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Colorado Denver. Next, he completed the Bryan Hemming Advanced Head and Neck Oncology Fellowship at the UCSF. His research interests include outcomes data in minimally invasive head and neck surgery and targeted therapies in head and neck oncology.
