Biography

Dr Syed Saleem Husain aka Saleem Saim, age 48, is an Assistant Professor in Medical Chemistry Division, Faculty of Applied Medical Sciences, Jazan University, Jazan, Saudi Arabia. He completed his PhD from Industrial Toxicology Research Center, Lucknow, India, as a Research Fellow, in a project on Neurobehavioral Toxicity of Cadmium in relation to protein malnutrition, sponsored by Indian Council of Medical Research, New Delhi, India. He also holds a master degree in English language and has edited and authored many books. He is a widely acclaimed English poet and writer, published by his pen-name “Saleem Saim”. He has recently published a book entitled, ‘Chemical Studies on Toxic Effects of Cadmium’, published by Lambert Academic Publishing, Germany and a research paper “Studies on Hepato and Renal Toxicity of Cadmium on Normal and Protein Malnourished Rats”, Syed Saleem Husain, J. of Material Sciences & Engineering, 2013, 2-3”, (https://dx.doi.org/10.4172/2169-0022.1000129). He is a reviewer of refereed journals and researcher in the field of heavy metal toxicology.
