Biography

Prof. Sufang Zhang is currently a professor in the School of Economics and Management at the North China Electric Power University (NCEPU), Beijing, China. She is also deputy director of the Research Institute of Energy Management (NCEPU), a research fellow at the Research Center for Beijing Energy Development (NCEPU) and the Institute for Low-Carbon Economy and Trade at the NCEPU (NCEPU). Before joining the NCEPU in 1993, she had years of working experience in government as a project officer in charge of international programs. Her recent research field focuses on renewable energy policy, particularly China’s wind power and solar PV power policy. She received her bachelor degree in economics from the Shanghai Institute of Foreign Trade and master degree in management from the University of International Business and Economics (Beijing) and is PhD candidate in techno-economics at NCEPU.
