Dr. Stefan Vilges de Oliveira is a biologist, specialist in ecology, master and doctor of Tropical Medicine. In his professional career has develope research on the ecoepidemiology of infectious and parasitic diseases with emphasis on emerging and focal diseases, contributing in this area with extensive cientific production published in national and international journals where has also contributed as a reviewer and editorial staff of important journals. Since 2010, has been working as epidemiologist from the Brazilian Ministry of Health at the Health Surveillance Secretary.
