Biography

Stavros Dimopoulos received the Medical degree from the University of Brescia in Italy in 2001 and Ph.D. degree from the Medical School of the National Kapodistrian University of Athens (UOA),Greece, in 2008. He has specialized in Internal Medicine at the Clinical Therapeutics, “Alexandra” Hospital of UOA, Greece (2010), and in Critical Care Medicine at the 1st Critical Care Medicine Department, UOA, “Evaggelismos” Hospital (2013). He manages the research activities of CPET and Rehabilitation Laboratory of 1st Critical Care Medicine department, UOA. He is the General Secretary and founding member of the Greek Society of Ergospirometry, Exercise & Rehabilitation and member of scientific societies including ESICM/EACPR/HFA of ESC. He is currently a reviewer in 16 international scientific peer-reviewed journals and member of the Editorial Board of 6 international peer-reviewed scientific journals. He has coauthored in more than 40 papers in international peer-reviewed refereed journals and more than 100 abstracts in international conference proceedings.
