Biography
Shuntaro Ando is a researcher of Research Project for Mental Health Promotion, Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Science in Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Medical Science. He is a consultant psychiatrist at the University of Tokyo Hospital. He pursued his MD from the University of Tokyo in 2003. He has been honoured with Prize for excellent announcement by the Japanese Society for Social Psychiatry in 2013. His areas of research expertise include: suicide prevention, stigma and discrimination, mental health services research, and epidemiology of mental illness. He has authored and co-authored 2 books and over 10 papers in peer reviewed journals
