Biography

Shuichi Nishio received his M.Sc. in computer science from Kyoto University in 1994, D. Eng from Osaka University in 2010 and is currently a Senior Researcher at Advanced Telecommunications Research Institute International (ATR) in Kyoto, Japan.He had also engaged in studies on networked robots, pattern recognition and standardization of robotic technologies.

His research interests include self-recognition system, bodily extension and communication support with robots
