Shaukat Ali
Biography
Shaukat ali completed his Ph.D. from North Dakota State University in 2001, after completing Ph.D. he worked as a Research associate in North Dakota State University and currently he is an Associate Professor and Small Grains Plant Pathologist at South Dakota State University.
Research Interest
Host-pathogen interaction of leaf spot pathogens of small grains;Plant breeding: breeding for disease resistance; disease epidemiology; genetic variation in leaf and head disease pathogens, Pyrenophora tritici-repentis, Stagnospora nodorum, S. avenea, Fusarium graminearum, and Bipolaris sorokiniana, of small grains; disease diagnostic; and mycology.
