Biography
Dr. Shafiqur received his Ph.D in Neuropharmacology at Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada and his Post-Doc in Postdoctoral Fellowship in Neuropsychopharmacology, Indiana University School of Medicine, Indianapolis, USA. He was awarded SDSU College of Pharmacy Distinguished Researcher in 2009, American Foundation for Pharmaceutical Education Award in 2008.
Research Interest
Pharmacology/Neuropharmacology,Therapeutic drug discovery for brain disorders; Treatment for drug addiction and neuropsychiatric disorders; Drug discovery for chronic pain; Mental illness and substance abuse research for public health.
