Biography

Dr. Ruibo Han received his Master in Management from Beijing Normal University in 2006 and his PD.D. in Geography from the University of Ottawa in 2012. He has been doing research and teaching at the University of Ottawa, Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada, University of Toronto, and University of Maryland. He is currently working as a lecturer at the University of Maryland, and also serves as the Director of Programs at the Center of Geospatial Science at the University of Maryland. He serves as a reviewer for multiple journals in geospatial science and urban ecosystem studies.

Research Interest

Big data analytics, Social media data mining, Mobile GIS and Web GIS; Geo-Simulation; Data assimilation; Programming and mapping under Geomatics; Spatial data management and analysis; Land cover and use; Urbanization and urban ecosystem studies.
