Dr. Reis is a professor of public health at the Washington University of St. Louis, United States. His research focuses on physical activity and public health, with particular interest in community interventions for promoting physical activity, built environment and health, active transportation and health, and physical activity surveillance. His policy and research experience includes working as consultant with governs and agencies in the development and monitoring interventions and policies to prevent chronic diseases and obesity.
