Biography

Dr. Olga Lilia Garibay-Cerdenares is a chemical biologist and parasitologist. She has master's degree in biomedical sciences and completed her Ph. D in 2014, in the Infections and Molecular Pathogenesis Department at CINVESTAV-IPN (Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute) in Mexico. She is an expert on the analysis of ascitic fluids from ovarian cancer patients using tools as Mass Spectrometry and Functional Proteomics, to validate potential Biomarkers in tumor progression. She is a member of the National Council of Science and Technology. She joined the Molecular Biomedicine Laboratory at Guerrero State Autonomous University as a Professor in 2014. She is a member of the of Mexican Proteomic Society.
