Biography

Dr. Nagabhatala Viswanadhan was post graduated from Andhra University in Bio-inorganic Chemistry in 1988 and started the research career in Catalysis from Indian Institute of Petroleum, Dehradun and occupied various research positions. Also visited various countries for exchange of research ideas, prominent among them are JSPS fellowship from 2000-2002 at the University of Tokyo, Japan and the Brain-pool fellowship from 2008-09 at KRICT, South Korea. 20 years research experience in Synthesis and Catalyst development for Conversion processes related to petroleum refining and petrochemicals. The major research areas are â– Synthesis of zeolites, mesoporous materials and nano materials â– Tailor-making of catalyst properties â– Catalyst development for industrial applications such as Natural Gas Liquids (NGL) to Gas and Gasoline (NTGG) â– Aromatization of light naphtha (LN) â– Light alkane isomerization â– Light olefine/paraffin selective oxidation â– Selective HDS and quality improvement of FCC gasoline â–  Zeolite reforming â– Alkylation of olefin containing hydrocarbon feedstocks â–  Methanol to olefins â–  Syngas to olefins
