Biography
Luiz Felipe P. Moreira was graduated in Medicine from the University of São Paulo (1980) and achieved PhD degree in Medicine (Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery) also at University of São Paulo (1994). He is currently Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery and Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery of University of São Paulo; Director of the Surgical Laboratory of Cardiovascular Research at the Heart Institute (InCor) of the Hospital das Clínicas de São Paulo; Scholarship CNPq Research Productivity Level 1 and Editor in chief of the “Arquivos Brasileiros de Cardiologia”. He has published 192 original articles in International Journals and eight full papers in Conference Proceedings. He received nine Scientific Awards and he also has 26 chapters in national and international books.
