Biography

LUIS J. FUJIMOTO, D.M.D., FACD, FICD, FADI, FAAO, FNYAD, FNMRI Dr. Luis J. Fujimoto received his Doctor in Medical Dentistry (D.M.D.) and Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine; He received his General Practice Residency certificate from the Nassau University Medical Center. Dr. Fujimoto is a master clinician, educator, examiner, regulator, accreditor, activist, philanthropist, and devoted servant to society. He is the President of the New York State Board for Dentistry under the New York State Department of Education. He is the President of the Osseointegration Foundation. He is a Board Member of the Medical Reserve Corps at the New York State Department of Health and Mental Hygiene. He is a Clinical Professor of Periodontology, Department of Periodontology, Nippon Dental University, Tokyo Japan. He is a Former Clinical Associate Professor of Post Doctoral Periodontology of the Department of Periodontology and Implant Dentistry at New York University College of Dentistry. He is the Past President of the North Eastern Society of Periodontists and the Eastern Dental Society. He was awarded several awards including the American Dental Association - Golden Apple Award and the Leadership Award from the Dental Society of the State of New York. He holds several Fellowships from multiple organizations. He is a Fluoridation Spokesperson for the New York State Dental Association. He is in the private practice in New York City, New York.
