Biography
Dr. Lauren Smith received her medical degree APCP pathology residency training and hematopathology fellowship training at the University of Michigan She joined the University of Michigan faculty in 2007 Dr Smith is actively involved in the clinical hematopathology services including histopathology flow cytometry and hemoglobin electrophoresis She participates in clinical and translational research projects Dr Smith has been a member of the adult ethics committee since 2005 and she serves on the adult ethics committee consultation service.
Research Interest
Hematopoietic neoplasms (Hodgkin and non-Hodgkin lymphoma, leukemia), flow cytometry, clinical ethics, ethical issues in pathology.
