Biography

Dr. Lauren A. Langford is an  Associate professor in Neuropathology at The University of Texas M.D Anderson Cancer Center. Her primary tasks include diagnostic work, research, and teaching. Succinctly put, she evaluate biopsy/resection tissue samples obtained from patients of all ages who have tumors or suspected tumors and share making in electron microscopic and autopsy diagnoses.

Research Interest

Her research projects at M.D Anderson have included detection of telomerase in pediatric and adult brain tumors, expression of PAX genes in pediatric brain tumors, and development of a technique for immunohistochemical detection of the MMAC-1/PTEN gene.
