Biography

Dr. Krisztina Z. Hanley is an Assistant Professor of Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine (Clinical Track) from 2009. In 2012, she started serving as Medical Director of Gross Rooms and Pathologist Assistant Services and from 2014 she is working as Director of Surgical Pathology “Boot Camp” for PGY-1 residents as well as Rotation Director: Gynecologic Pathology at Emory University Hospitals. She issued with Licensures/Boards of Georgia (active, issued 2007) and Virginia (inactive, issued 2008). Dr. Hanley completed her Postdoctoral research fellowship in 2003 from Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine at University of Rochester. She is having memberships in national and international committees such as United States and Canadian Academy of Pathologists: Abstract Review Committee for Cytopathology, American Society of Clinical Pathology: ASCPedia – Digital Project Committee, v. American Society of Cytopathology; Education and Website Committee and many more. She serves as editorial board member for American Journal of Clinical and Experimental Obstetrics and Gynecology, Journal of Antivirals, Antiretrovirals Research and Therapy and SM Journal of Clinical Pathology. She awarded as “Golden Apple” Award for contribution to Resident Education in Anatomic Pathology at Emory University School of Medicine in 2016.
