Kavish Ramessur

SSR Medical College

Biography

Kavish is certified in Biostatistics and Epidemiology from Harvard Medical School with over a dozen research publications in reputed Medical Journals. He has also authored four medical books – two of which are research theses and two are Textbooks of Biochemistry for Medical Students. The latter have received international acclaim and are being used as standard texts in Medical Schools worldwide. He is the webmaster of “Biochemistry for Medics,” a non-profit website aimed at making Biochemistry more accessible to medical students; a site that receives over five thousand visitors every day. His field of expertise is “Oxidative Stress”, is at the root of several pathologies and whose curtailment shall open new vistas towards newer therapeutic approaches.
