Juan Carlos Aceros

Biography

Juan Aceros received the M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering and the Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering from Northeastern University, Boston, MA. From 2009 to 2013, he was a Senior Research Associate with the Neuroengineering Laboratory at Brown University, Providence, RI. Since 2013, he has been an Assistant Professor of Engineering at the University of North Florida, Jacksonville, FL. His research interests are in the area of fabrication of implantable neuroengineering devices, assistive technologies, and topics related to micro/nano fabrication and MEMS. He is a member of the Materials Research Society (MRS), the America Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) and the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (IEEE).
