Biography

I’m associate professor and Director of Surgical Pathology of Department of Pathology, University of Cincinnati College of Medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. As a senior pathologist, I practice general pathology, cytopathology and autopsy. I am the leading lung pathologist and expertise in lung cancer pathology diagnosis at University of Cincinnati Medical Center.

In addition to pathology daily diagnosis, I have been actively involved in teaching in medical students and residents, and medical research for 30 years. My major research interests are cancer and liver disease. I have published more than 60 peer-reviewed papers and presented 57 abstracts in national/international conferences.

Undergoing Research Projects Include: 1. Associations of Biomarkers with Prognosis and Survival of Early Non-small Cell Lung Cancer 2. The role of MED1 in HER2-Mediated Tumorigenesis 3. Lymphoma Suppression DNA Repair 4. Serum phospholipase A2-IIa as a diagnostic and prognostic biomarker for lung cancer
