Biography

Dr. Ivo Machar was born in the year 1968 and working as Associate Professor, Faculty of Science, Dpt. of Development Studies, Palacký University Olomouc, Czech Republic. His scientific focus is mainly on Applying Landscape Ecology in Biological Conservation, especially in the frame of Forest Ecosystems. Teaching competency of Dr. Ivo Machar is on Fundamentals of Ecology; Landscape Ecology; Conservation Biology; Fundamentals of Forest Ecology and forest Pedagogics, Guarantor of the branch of study: Environmental Studies and Sustainable Development. His has many publications to added to his research career.
