Biography
Dr. Hermes Ilarraza Lomelí is a chief of Department Cardiac Rehabilitation at National Institute of Cardiology, Mexico. He is a member of National academy of medicine of Mexico. He completed his MD in internal medicine from national institute of Nutrition Salvador Zubiran, Mexico. He completed his post-graduation in Cardiac Rehabilitation from Rehazentrum, Seewis-Dorf. Graubünden,Switzerland (2000--â€Â2001). Founding Member of the IberoAmerican Council for Cardiac Rehabilitation and Secondary Prevention (2003). He is a coordinator of Cardiac Rehabilitation council, American society of Cardiology. He is the President of Mexican association of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Rehabilitation. He published 40 medical journals, Book publisher for 3, author of 27 chapters in books, directed 10 theses. He presented 96 free papers in national congresses and 126 in international congresses.

His research interests are Cardiac Rehabilitation, Cardiovascular prevention, cardiopulmonary exercise testing, Management of patients with congenital heart disease, cardiovascular risk management, Open systems and complexity sciences.
