Biography
Dr. Haifeng Liu is now an Associate Professor of Beihang University, China. He gained his Ph.D. degree from Tianjin University in 2004. After graduation, Dr. Liu continued his research as a Research Fellow at National University of Singapore. He joined Beihang University in 2009. His research interests include biomaterials, tissue engineering, nanobiotechnology and nanomedicine, controlled Release, and stem cell technology. During the past years, he has published over 20 international peer reviewed papers with over 400 citations. Because of his excellent work at biomaterials and regeneration medicine, Dr. Liu has been invited to be a Guest Editor for the journal “Current Organic Chemistry” and assigned as the Reviewer for many international top journals such as Biomaterials, Biomacromolecules, Tissue Engineering, Journal of Biomedical Material Research. Also, he has been invited to contribute reviews and book chapters for Elsevier, Bentham Science, and InTech publishers. Dr. Liu is now a member of Tissue Engineering and Regenerative Medicine International Society (TERMIS), American Chemical Society (ACS) and Chinese Biomaterials Society.
