DR. DEVINDER PAL SINGH Ph.D. (Physics), Guru Nanak Dev University, Amritsar, India`• Over 30 years of experience in teaching Physics courses to undergraduate students. • Over 25 years of research experience in the field of Physical Acoustics (Physics). • 70 research publications in various national and international research journals. • Participated in 9 International and 25 National Conferences / Seminars. • Delivered numerous Lectures as Resource Person in Canada and Internationally. • Experienced in developing and supervising undergraduate laboratories. • Authored and published 8 books and about 125 articles in various leading English newspapers and magazines on popular Science. • Dean Student Welfare for over 4 years, with specialization in student conflict resolution.Recently he have worked on the Investigations of molecular interactions in Liquid Crystals and study of Polymer Solutions using ultrasonic velocity data. The results obtained on the basis of acoustical investigations are being compared with those obtained using thermodynamical and optical studies. Various theories of the condensed state of matter such as FLT, CFT and HSM etc. have been tested for these materials to check their validity for these materials.
