Biography

Coordinator of the Post- Graduate Program in Cardiovascular Sciences at UFF. Graduated in medicine from the Federal Fluminense University (1994), Master of Medicine (Cardiology) at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (1999) and doctorate in Medical Radiology Nuclear Medicine at the Federal University of Rio January (2002). He is currently Professor of Cardiology Deputy Fluminense Federal University. He is a faculty member of the Graduate Program in Cardiovascular Sciences at the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Consultant to the Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Image Service of Hospital Pro-Cardiac (since 2002) and the Nuclear Medicine Service of the National Cardiology Institute of Laranjeiras in Rio de Janeiro (in the period 2006-2009). Fellow of the American College of Cardiology. Member of the Society of Nuclear Medicine, European Association of Nuclear Medicie and American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He has experience in the area of medicine, with an emphasis on cardiology, acting on the following topics: cardiology, nuclear medicine, emergencies, ischemic heart disease and cardiovascular therapy. Its main publications involve research with Ischemic Heart Disease, Heart Failure, Stress and Cardiac Cell Therapy and Tronco.É coordinator Emerging Researchers Group of UFF awarded Notice FAPERJ in 2008. Young Scientist of the State of Rio de Janeiro - Notice FAPERJ 2009. It Cardiovascular Imaging Group Leader of FFU at CNPq. Universal contemplated in the Notice CNPQ 2009 with Flash design in heart failure. Contemplated in SIADS group, coordinated by Prof. Orlando Loques in the Notice thinks Rio FAEPRJ 2010 on ubiquitous computing techniques and development of telemonitoring system. PRONEX contemplated in 2009 with the work cardiometabolic risk: STUDY POPULATION TO MOLECULAR BASIS, the group coordinated by Prof. Antonio Claudio Lucas da Nobrega. Contemplated in the Notice Proridade SUS Rio FAPERJ 2010, the Project on economic analysis of percutaneous aortic VALVE prosthesis implantation in the project which is the coordinator. Contemplated in the Notice of Support for Research Institutions Headquartered in Rio de Janeiro FAPERJ 2010. Scholarship CNPq Research Productivity Level 2 (2010-13). Guided walks and master's theses, doctoral, undergraduate students and scholarship for technical training FAPERJ. Is part of the Iberoamerican Program consultants ad hoc group on Science and Technology for Development (CYTED). Elected as Vice-President of the Brazilian Society of Biology, Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging for the 2013-2014 management. Responsible for medical school graduation Discipline Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging of the Universidade Federal Fluminense. Coordinator of the Graduate Program in Cardiovascular Sciences of FFU for the quadrennium 2013-2017. President of the Brazilian Society of Nuclear Medicine in the biennium 2015-2016.
