Biography
Carla Proietti graduated in Physics at the University of Rome “La Sapienza” in 2005, with specializations in Biological Systems Physics. In 2006 she won the international PhD fellowship in Molecular Pathogenesis and Immunology at the University of Perugia. In January 2009 she began working as a visiting research assistant at the LSHTM where she compleated her PhD.
Research Interest
Her research activity has focused on the study of human immune response to malaria antigens for vaccine development and on transmission of Plasmodium falciparum in endemic area of Uganda for malaria control and surveillance.
