Biography

Antonio Simone Laganà was born in Reggio Calabria (Italy) on 8th May 1986. He is a Member of the Italian Association of Endometriosis, Society for Reproductive Investigation (SRI), European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology (ESHRE), International Society of Gynaecological Endocrinology (ISGE), Society of Endometriosis and Uterine Disorders (SEUD), International Society of Ultrasound in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (ISUOG). He got a Master of “gynaecological minimally invasive and robotic surgery” (University of Pisa), developed an intensive surgical training in the Univerzitetni Klinični Centre, Ljubljana (Ljubljana, Slovenia) and obstetric/gynaecological ultrasound training in the Altamedica Main Centre (Rome, Italy). His research interests are: Endometriosis, Reproductive Immunology, T cell subsets, Chronic Pelvic Pain, Genetic of Mullerian-Derived Structures, Gynaecological Endocrinology, Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, Laparoscopy and Hysteroscopy. He is author of many papers published in national and international peer-reviewed journals, and his presence is often requested as Invited Speaker in international congresses.
