Biography

Dr Ana Brito has a first degree in Environmental Biology from the University of Lisbon Portugal received in 2005 She has then worked on her PhD project for 4 years which was focused on the understanding of the ecosystem functioning carried out in a shallow coastal lagoon She has completed her PhD at the Edinburgh Napier University UK in 2009 Currently she is working as a research fellow at the Center of Oceanography in the University of Lisbon Portugal being responsible for several projects She is serving as a reviewer for several international journals including the Marine Ecology Progress Series
